We have found that GPS can get confused in the old town, and send you down narrow streets
So here is our recommendation of the best way to drive to Rue Galilee, so you may drop off your luggage, and then drive to the nearest car park:
From Boulevard Voltaire turn into Rue du Glacis, and then across Rue Emile Zola to take Rue Henri Maffre. Turn right into Rue Ledru Rollin, and in a few moments you will see our B&B ahead of you, on the corner of the street bearing our name - Rue Galilee.
Having dropped off everything you need for your stay, continue down Rue Ledru Rollin, bear right across Place Miramond, to join Rue Emile Zola. At the end of Rue Emile Zola, turn right into Boulevard Anatole France. This will take you to join Boulevard Roqueblave on your right. The school building with the free car park - open 24/7 - is on your left-hand side.
Walking back to our house is simple too: turn left from the car park, cross the road to Rue Alsace Lorraine, cross the little square and take Rue Montgolfier. Within a few paces you will reach another square, and directly in front of you is the top of Rue Ledru Rollin. A short stroll down the street will bring you again to the warm welcome awaiting you at Rue Galilee.
We are conveniently located in the heart of the old town, within easy strolling distance of all the attractions of Marseillan. At the same time, being tucked away in these narrow streets ensures that there's no passing traffic, or happy revelers, to disturb your peaceful slumbers!
