Janne listened to his heart and followed his first dream by sailing on an epic trip, right around the world, with his great friend, Calle. That they were both seasick novice sailors before their big expedition could tell you they already had an unconventional approach to life's challenges. Their stories are a mix of practical sailing skills and hilarious "it could only happen to us" moments! Returning to Sweden in 2005, after three years of memorable life-changing encounters, Janne has subsequently published two books to recount all the tales of their adventures. "Segla med Albatross" and "Brave or Stupid" are the two titles which have proved to be globally popular reads amongst a wide audience.
Sara's more personal journey, listening to her heart, brought her from England to France and ultimately prompted her current career-path as an independent writer. "Dream it, Do it ...Why not?" was the book that first shared her dreams with fellow Europeans searching a better life in the sun. Since then, she has answered Janne's request to document and celebrate his success at following his second dream with "How to Create a Great B&B". Developing that theme of offering encouragement and inspiration through writing, Sara showed another side to her courage when recording her recovery journal entitled "No Chemo, No Radio ... no Knife".
"Mexico Amiga!" is the latest addition to the library of author-signed books we can now offer for sale at Rue Galilee. Reflecting on four colourful trips with Janne to Mexico over a four year period, Sara shares a delightful selection of insights and observations. All are offered with her customary light touch, as she and Janne fall in love with yet more bright and cheerful horizons.
