Marseillan is absolutely perfect for bike trips!
Whether you prefer biking to the beach or visiting the vineyards, we have ten bicycles, all in excellent condition and well-maintained, available to hire for a great day out. With a basket up front big enough to hold your picnic, and another on the back to take your towels … we think you will be well equipment for a fabulous foray!
Whilst an easy 4km ride to the glorious coastal beaches is the first choice for most guests, you might also want to venture a little further afield? Designated smooth cycle routes can take you on peaceful paths to the historic towns of Agde and Sète, if you are tempted to explore these characterful towns without the hassle of finding a parking space. Or perhaps you will prefer the paths that follow the Canal du Midi … all the way to Beziers, and beyond?!
This is a very popular way for our guests to explore the region, so advance booking of your bicycle (with helmet and lock provided) is strongly recommended.
If you would like us to provide one of our Perfect Picnic Baskets for you, please let us know when you book your bike.
And one polite request: please don't take our sumptuous bath towels to the beach! We can provide towels suitable for a day outside if you don't have your own – please just ask!

For guests who will be arriving in Marseillan later than usual, we want to ensure you won't go to bed hungry.
We understand that if you've had a long drive, or a late flight – or even a particularly well-filling
gourmet lunch - you might want to take a stroll beside the harbour, breathe the sea air and let your
senses know you've arrived. But you might not want to try and find a late place to eat, or even fancy
a full meal before bedtime.
If you can pre-order your request (2 days in advance, please) we are happy to prepare one of
our delicious filled baguettes to welcome you to our house. There's a choice of fresh fillings: either
sliced ham, salami or cheese, all locally sourced.
You are welcome to take a seat in our dining room to relax and enjoy your baguette; or we can serve
you at the bar whilst you enjoy a drink to unwind at the end of the day. Or perhaps you'd prefer to
eat outside on our terrace under the stars? We're cool with that, too ~
In exceptional circumstances, if you face an unexpected last minute delay, your evening dining plans
are disrupted and you suddenly find you will need an emergency stop-gap snack, please do call, textRue Galilée – keeping guests happy, not hungry!

We have a comfortable, spacious van and can guarantee you a punctual, friendly welcome and an easy journey directly to our B&B.
You just need to give us your flight details and keep us informed if there are any changes on the day of travel.
This service can also be booked for your return flight - please make a separate request with clear details so we can make that reservation for you, too.
